The London Tests of English (LTE) are scenario-based language assessments for speakers of other languages. The examination tests reading, writing, listening and speaking skills and is offered at six levels: - Level A1 - Foundation
- Level 1 - Elementary
- Level 2 - Intermediate
- Level 3 - Upper Intermediate
- Level 4 - Advanced
- Level 5 - Proficient
The examination is designed for adult and teenage learners, and Levels 4 and 5 are accepted for entrance to a number of UK universities and institutes of higher education. The practice papers are available for Levels 1 to 5. |
